Ok now before you start ranting at me that is image is not mine...I got permission from the original owner and plus this is just for fun. So please give full credit to the original model and photographer who actually did the photo...

Now what did I do:
1. Added Lightsaber beam
2. Added Lens Flare
3. Changed Lighting levels twice
4. Added Color balance three times
5. Added Photo filter

wow that's a lot of stuff but it will make more since just looking at it.

You indeed gave me a hard one. I know little about how to critique photography and even less on photomanipulation.

I'll give this my best shot.

First, I don't think the lense flare is necessary, and I feel that it's really in the wrong spot. If anything, it should be continuing with the radiation of the light sabers. As it stands right now, the angles of the lens flare give the impression of a brighter source of light being somewhere off to the side of the photo. A good example of what I'm talking about is the lens flare in the original picture that goes across the model's stomach.

While I like color balance effect, I think maybe you hit it one too many times. The building in the background looks gorgeous in comparison to the original photo, but the problem with that is that in your photo the background is a lot more prominent than the original photo.

Tag that with the super huge glow at the lightsabers, and the model is getting really washed out. I think to remedy that problem and still keep the large glow would be to alter the glow on the model's skin. With that amount of light, there should be much more prominent shading and highlight on her skin. I would also darken her dress a bit to make her stand out a bit more.

Anyways, for a photo manip, at first look its pretty natural. If you spend more time, then you can start seeing some flaws. All in all I do like the shinier sabers, but the model is having difficulty. Over all, pretty nice job!
